Marilyn Muttroe was one of the Sponsors at this event. As well, donated silent auction items for the Helen Woodward Animal Center's Annual Derby Day.





Each year since 1980, the nonprofit center, Helen Woodward has honored the children with a Derby Day. This day is to celebrate skills learned at the year-round therapeutic horse riding classes. All of the horses that the children ride are donated.

The four-hour event, which featured 41 riders with varying degrees of physical and mental disabilities, divided the riders into three skill sets. Each of the skill sets allowed the riders to display their abilities including equestrian, dressage and jumping.

This is a wonderful event, for wonderful children.
